They’re really dark! I need to lighten them up a bit. KS has sharp eyes and probably had to turn up his screen brightness, too 🙂
KS
Yes, I admit I turned up the screen brightness as well as enlarging the images. When you do that, you can just see Amanda’s outline behind the darkness.

I had to turn on high contrast mode in order to see it. Awesome attention to detail!
A clever girl would realize that lock is pretty easy to smash, and if worse comes to worse there are all sorts of easily-improvised weapons in the basement. Now we will see how resourceful she is.
Oh, that’s true, not really “like” material here, is it 😬 I still appreciate the likes, though! And thank you so much for the kind words, I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! More to come 😉
Have you ever been asked, “How many kids do you have in your basement?” and then answered with, “Oh, let me go count!” or “About 6.” or something similar? Well if he said “One.” then wouldn’t be lying…
Hi, I’ve been avidly reading both of your strips since finding them a few weeks ago, they are amazing and your artwork is awesome! Today I got the email telling me there was a new Ninecrow strip but all I can find is this one from last week and no new one – is it just me?
Hi! Thank you so much for the kind message! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the comic 🙂
No, it’s not just you! The newsletter is set to send only if there’s a new comic, but for some reason it decided there was something new and sent, even though the comic is late this week. So sorry to get your hopes up! The new page is going to be a little late (should be up late today) due to a pet emergency last week that put me behind schedule 🙁 (My doggo is ok, though! she just needed to ruin my weekend with worry, ahaha)
so thats what he does. he locks girls in his basement, waits for them to die, and then cremates them in his furnace and takes their teeth. (is there a rule against posting suspicions?)
After Amanda's parents divorce, Amanda and her mom relocate to a new town. Amanda's trying to be cooperative about the move, but her mom won't explain why they're there, or even how she heard of the place. As Amanda explores the town and begins to unravel a decades-old disappearance--or more than one--she starts to fear she's in danger too. But as her mom's behavior grows ever more detached and bizarre, will Amanda be able to escape the town's strange pull?
Updates Mondays and Fridays.

Those last three panels are amazing. Everyone: enlarge them and look at the detail.
Definitely time for Cary to ride up on his white horse.

Mmhmm. The attention to detail with all her comics are good.

I like the new title, but is it Metallica or Dire Straits?
