I read The Curse of Crooked Mile and Ninecrow in 2 days. Absolutely amazing work! I’ve never seen such a great comic before!!! Very detail-oriented, and brilliant illustrations. I’m a great fan of your work Dora, and your doggo. (I’m a fan of all doggos, so please send my love to them.)
Oh wow, thank you so much for this! What an awesome compliment that you read both comics in two days!! That just made me so happy 🙂 And I’ve given the doggos a hug from you! They are pleased to get the appreciation they deserve 😀
Loving the story. Im not usually into horror themed anything, but this has captured my attention. I hope everything is going well with you in real life.
So sorry for the long silence! I was so stressed out I couldn’t even read the comments D: Anxiety really messes with me sometimes! I hope you’re still reading–I’ve got a lot of pages ready to post, so no breaks coming up any time soon! *fingers crossed that I don’t jinx myself*
I am so sorry for the long silence! I was really overwhelmed with stress to the point that I couldn’t even check the comments. But I’m feeling a lot better and I’m super excited to post the upcoming chapters, so I’m not planning to take any more breaks any time soon! *knock wood* Hope you’re still reading along 🙂
Hi! I’m so sorry for being MIA for so long! Things were just so overwhelming for a while there…my anxiety disorder is the reason I write spooky stories, but it also makes it really hard to put myself out there sometimes, haha 🙂 I usually manage it okay, but throw any extra stress in there–like everything around me being on fire, ARGH–I tend to curl up in a ball and hide!
Anyway, I’m super excited to be back to posting, and we’re getting close to the homestretch of the story now, so there’s good stuff coming up 😉 Hope you’re still checking in!
There was a wild fire or hurricane (i don’t remember which) that made the artist need to evacuate, so i guess she’s still dealing with the disaster. More is explained at her other comic “Curse of the crooked mile”.
So sorry for worrying you! I was just so overwhelmed with stress for a while there…I couldn’t even bring myself to look at comments because just the thought of it made me *more* stressed out. Good old anxiety disorder! >.< I'm feeling better and I'm very excited for the upcoming chapters, so I'm not planning to take any more breaks any time soon! *knock wood*
This comic is awesome! As is Crooked Mile! Love the characters, the plot, the mystery! It’s just fantastic! Glad the fires didn’t eat you *or* the house, I can’t imagine how stressful that must have been. Good to have you back!
After Amanda's parents divorce, Amanda and her mom relocate to a new town. Amanda's trying to be cooperative about the move, but her mom won't explain why they're there, or even how she heard of the place. As Amanda explores the town and begins to unravel a decades-old disappearance--or more than one--she starts to fear she's in danger too. But as her mom's behavior grows ever more detached and bizarre, will Amanda be able to escape the town's strange pull?

And it’s good to see that Mom can say something normal in the circumstances.

I was worried about that

Congratulations on the 101st page(I hate round numbers, so I refuse to congratulate you on the previous one).

Do you like palindromical numbers, then?
Krishna Jha.
I do. And as for the congratulations thing, she deserves a congrats for every page.

Apparently her house was affected by the summer fires in LA.
