While I was hunting up pictures of microfilm readers for this scene, I came across this:

Well, who knew?! I guess I'm not the only one who loves some red-hot research action in a mystery! Never occurred to me it's a whole genre trope. I'm just a huge nerd about old newspaper archives, so I had to sneak in a good ol' microfilm sleuthing scene :)
