I also came over here from Bored Panda. I just binge read the whole series, and if those kids die…well, I, for one will not be happy. Other than that, I’ve been loving this story! Now, on to Crooked Mile! 😁
I totally understand why she sat down, despite everything she’s still a teen and this is her mother, taking control in a situation like that is difficult. Also I think you’ve been foreshadowing changes within the mom and im so hungry for more omg
After Amanda's parents divorce, Amanda and her mom relocate to a new town. Amanda's trying to be cooperative about the move, but her mom won't explain why they're there, or even how she heard of the place. As Amanda explores the town and begins to unravel a decades-old disappearance--or more than one--she starts to fear she's in danger too. But as her mom's behavior grows ever more detached and bizarre, will Amanda be able to escape the town's strange pull?
